Synopsis
Όλα ξεκίνησαν με τον πρωταγωνιστή μας, τον Hank Moody (David Duchovny – The X files), να μας παρουσιάζεται ως ο κλασσικός αγύρτης όπου πηγαίνει από την μία γυναίκα στην άλλη, και πάντα να βρίσκεται μπλεγμένος. Ακόμα δεν έχει ξεπεράσει τον χωρισμό του με την πρώην γυναίκα του Karen (Natascha McElhone – Solaris), και γι’ αυτό αντιδράει έτσι. Παρόλα αυτά προσπαθεί να είναι καλός πατέρας για την έφηβη κόρη του Becca (Madeleine Martin). Μαζί του να τον βοηθήσει από τις κακοτοπιές, και ο κολλητός του φίλος Charlie (Evan Handler – City, Lost), ο οποίος του δίνει πάντα συμβουλές. Και, ενώ νόμιζε οτι η ζωή του δεν θα μπορούσε να γίνει πιο περίεργη, γνωρίζει την Mia (Madeline Zima – The Nanny), μια νεαρή κοπέλα που θα φέρει τα πάνω κάτω στη ζωή του..
A self-loathing, alcoholic writer attempts to repair his damaged relationships with his daughter and her mother while combating sex addiction, a budding drug problem, and the seeming inability to avoid making bad decisions.
